The largest competition for BANDAI CARD GAMES occurred over the weekend of January 4th-5th, bringing together card game enthusiasts and anime fans from around the globe. Hosted in the iconic city of Orlando, Florida, this event was far more than just a tournament – it was a celebration of all things anime, featuring intense competitions, exciting merchandise, and plenty of opportunities for fans to connect and celebrate their shared love of popular series like ONE PIECE, Dragon Ball, Digimon, Gundam, and more!

A World Tour Experience Like No Other

The atmosphere surrounding BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 24-25 -WORLD TOUR in ORLANDO- was electric as there were plenty of unforgettable experiences ranging from panels, game demos, new announcements, and thrilling musical guests like Hiroshi Kitadani (artist behind ONE PIECE’s first opening theme “We Are!”), and Maki Otsuki (artist behind ONE PIECE’s first ending theme “memories”). Even popular content creators like IShowSpeed, ProZD, and Team APS were in attendance!

BANDAI CARD GAMES Fest 24-25 -WORLD TOUR in ORLANDO- was a huge milestone for card game enthusiasts and Gunpla fans alike. Not only were fans able to demo the newest addition to BANDAI CARD GAMES’ portfolio: GUNDAM CARD GAME, even the winners for the GUNPLA BUILDERS WORLD CUP 12th Tournament were revealed at the event! In total, there were six winners overall, three for the U-20 course, and three for the Over 21 course.

Most excitingly, BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. announced a new Gunpla tabletop game called “GUNDAM ASSEMBLE” which features a variety of different Mobile Suits as 5 cm-sized miniatures, also releasing a promotional teaser video & official website for the project.

What is GUNDAM ASSEMBLE?

GUNDAM ASSEMBLE is a tabletop game that uses approximately 5 cm-sized Gunpla to battle. Each unit has abilities that reflect their unique characteristics, allowing players to enjoy scenarios that follow the original story, or diverge into situations that transcend the world of Mobile Suit Gundam series; thus, providing both a sense of recreation and distinct battles. Detailed rules and product specifications will be announced later.

To celebrate the release of GUNDAM CARD GAME & the announcement of GUNDAM ASSEMBLE, a special collaboration featuring a starter deck and 3 different GUNDAM ASSEMBLE miniatures will be releasing July 11th, 2025 for $34.99 USD. A total of four GUNDAM CARD GAME GUNDAM ASSEMBLE Starter Sets will be available.
