Any chance us long time supporters who spend their money on your products instead of going to conventions can get hold of these?

It saddens me that people who don’t even play the game have a better chance of getting these cards than long time players do.

How about giving something to the people who participate on your forums by helping other players or the people who constantly advertise your products on their Facebook pages?

Post GenCon we will have other ways of getting these promos.

        Cool beans.

        1. Aaron says:

Yes, we need these promos without having to attend a convention!

          1. Alex Bykov says:

There will be a way to get these promos post gencon.

      2. Joseph Lee says:

Yay, for that!! I would definitely like to get these promo cards.

  2. Jared says:

Do we need to bring our own game boxes or will some be available for each tournament?

    1. Alex Bykov says:

You will not need to bring anything.

  3. Michael says:

Has there been a “Special” card that’s XP-buyable before?
Are there any rules for playing it that don’t appear on the card?
Can it be played in battle or during Events (as opposed to Setups that cannot)?

    1. Alex Bykov says:

No special cards are not usually bought.
All the rules are written on the card.

  4. Salvador Bernadó says:

The promos look good but, it’s a pity that foreign players don’t have too much opportunities to get them.
The game is hard enough to get and the promos are just impossible…

Any news on when/where we can get our hands on these promos? I really don’t want to pay 20 bucks on eBay.

      1. Alex Bykov says:

We are in the works on planning that out. They will be available in some form around the release of The Original Series.

I don’t want to seem like and armchair quarterback, but cant you just make them available for us to buy through your website for a buck a card or something. (Decipher did this with the jedi pack and red/gold leader cards, they charged $1 for the Jedi pack of 11 cards and the red/gold leader were free) it really doesn’t seem that hard.

          1. Alex Bykov says:

We are working on a way to get the cards to players nationwide.

So, now that it’s post GenCon, how do I get these new cards? They’re being sold on Ebay for $7 each on Ebay, and that’s a lot more than I want to pay to a third party for something he got for free. How can I get these directly from you?

    1. Alex Bykov says:

They will be available in some form around the release of The Original Series.

see, its that “in some form” that bothers me. I love this game, but I can’t make it to the cons to get stuff like this, and I don’t have a store near me that participates in any sort of organized play that would have the promos available. Like I said in a previous post, Decipher sold the cards dirt cheap directly to the players, it was a great system.

Any news on getting these promotional cards outside of conventions? Its been a while…

    1. Dave Rambo says:

I was wondering the same thing as Rick. These promos don’t seem to be available anywhere now.

I’d really like to get a copy of them.

  7. J D says:

Any news on this? Been checking everywhere with no luck.

  8. Dave Rambo says:

Did the plan to make these “available in some form” fall through? Love the game, and would eventually like to get these cards.

    1. Alex Bykov says:

Keep a look out for them at the Boardgamegeek.com store. They should appear later this month.
