    Finally Completed TNG

Started watching TNG back in September and last night I finally finished the last episode of season 7. It was brutal. 44 min episodes really slowed me down but I hung in there. I really enjoyed the series and now plan on going to DS9.

    Favorites:
The Borg - definitiely the coolest SciFi baddies of all time. I wish there was more episodes focusing on the borg but overall I was happy with how they used the borg in the series.

The Q - I must admit at the beginning of the series I was not fond of the Q. However the last episode in the series really changed my mind. I haven't watched any of DS9 or Voyager but I hope the Q show up at least once.

    Time Travel was pretty cool.

La Forge, Data, Beverly and Ro were by far my favorite characters of the series.

    Disappointments:
Too many single character episodes, I'm all for Character development but I felt like I already knew how the characters were going to react in their Character building episodes so it was kind of a let down.

Wesley Crusher - my least favorite character of the whole series. The first 3 seasons I felt like he was the only one who could fix anything on the ship which made everyone else suck by comparison.

If you like the Borg then you should watch Voyager. A lot more Borg episodes in that series.

Congrats - you've just finished up the greatest 7-year run in the history of Television. There's still a lot to look forward to in DS9, Voyager, and Enterprise, though. Don't listen to the haters - they're all great shows. Watch them and make up your own mind as to their quality.

If you enjoyed TNG, I suspect that you'll enjoy DS9 a lot more. I know I did. In my opinion, they learned from many of their past mistakes for DS9, making it the absolute high-point in Star Trek.

The TNG Borg are definitely the coolest Sci Fi baddies ever, but beware, Voyager kills them as compelling villains.

Q shows up once in DS9, but his appearance is mostly wasted. He pops us a few times in Voyager, but the first time it's with a story that completely ignores the entire Amanda Rogers story, and the rest is pretty retarded.

I am sorry to read about your disappointment with that one character. Thanks for sharing your review here at http://www.bandai.com
