    Borg Scenario Questions

So, after playing the Borg scenario a couple of times, we had a couple questions:

    1) Who is my "opponent"? Does this mean any other player in the game, like it does in the Exploration scenario? If not, are effects like what William Riker have simply ignored in the Borg Scenario (thus making them much less useful at an 8 XP cost)?

    2) How does the Sensor Scan work? It states "When Exploring", which to me implies that it can be played at the very start of the turn before the forced exploration (that is, after all, when you are actually exploring). If this is not when it occurs, when should it occur - or can the card not actually be played in the Borg Expansion (in which case, should it be removed from the deck)?

    Thanks!

    1) Effects that state "your opponent" are simply ignored. So yes, Riker is a little over prices int he Borg scenario.

    2) You must explore before you can play anything. So Sensor Scan cannot be played for that effect. You should not remove it however, as you can still use it for +1 Speed and +2 Diplomacy (VERY useful for getting a better ship, which is critical in the Borg scenario)

Note: You can still use Tam Elbrum's effect, as that will help you plan your NEXT turn.
