Would anybody like to help me come up with some card templates?

If there was a card template it would be very easy to come up with your own characters and missions.

Unfortunately, I am only moderately skilled in image editing, and have no decent-resolution scans of the cards since I don't own the game.

Wouldn't you want to buy the game first before making custom characters so you have some idea of how the game is balanced? It would be like trying to make a working custom magic card when you have never made a magic deck or played a game of magic.

Your original statement made it sound like you didn't have access to the cards. If you don't have decent scans, couldn't you make them from your friends copies of the games? or are you expecting someone else to do it for you?

Not everybody owns a scanner. That's why I'm asking for help from somebody who does.
