    Another Borg Question

Can someone please explain to me the sequence of how to battle a borg starship with multiple players? Is one player chosen to battle alone with borg and if he/she gets destroyed (after however many rounds), another takes his place and so on?

All players play simultaneously in the scenario, during battle you combine your stat totals.
    Card draw ftw!

You do not combine stat totals. It is like a War event that has a Borg ship in it where you only want to shoot the Borg and not each other. Players with more speed than the Borg will shoot before it, and players with less shoot after. You typically choose one player to take most of the hit and the Borg attacks roll over extra damage to other players (you get to choose the order).

The Battle happens like a normal war, each player plays their cards seperately and then compare speeds and do damage in that order, then all damage is totaled on the cube. if any players that get their speed faster then the cube gets to do their damage to the cube before it gets to fire.

Can you choose player A to receive the first round of damage from the Borg and player B to receive the second round, assuming player A survives the initial attack?

There's only 1 round. If the Borg cube lives through the round apply the FAIL effect. Damage carries over from one ship to the next (like Gowron's effect). For example, if player A takes 8 damage and dies, but that wasn't all of the Borg's attack the rest must roll over to another player (up to you which).

So the steps for a Borg card would be:
    - Reveal Borg cards (Cubes and Spheres have different rules where the Borg cards come from) and calculate stats for Borg ship.
    - Apply FLIP effect
    - Players with speed greater then or equal to the Borg ship fire on the Borg ship.
    - Have the Borg ship fire on a player, roll over excess damage to another player of your choice (my group often gets entirely destroyed by this if we all already have damage).
    - Remaining players fire on Borg ship.
    - If Borg ship not dead, apply FAIL effect.

Somewhere in there you might want to play more cards, like after apply the FLIP effect.

Just wondering... if there is only one round of attacks, and after that round if the borg ship is still alive it basically flies away, then why does the Borg Cube card say "if not destroyed after one or more players has fired on it, remove all damage from this card"? That seems to be inconsequential if the ship leaves after one round of attacks anyway.

All I can think of is that otherwise someone, somewhere, would eventually wonder how to keep track of damage to the ships that left. The rulebook says the same thing about the regular Space Deck ships in the Exploration free-for-all mode.

I think they meant the following using these stats for players and Borg as an example: Player A - Speed 3, Attack 4; Player B - Speed 6, Attack 4; Player C - Speed 7, Attack 3; Borg Ship - Speed 5, Attack 7, Defense 9.

Players B and C have more speed so they will fire first. Since they don't destroy the Borg after one go of it, the Borg regenerate for player A to kill, which in this scenario is impossible. Borg Cards for all here.
