Question Blue stripes on Romulan space deck and some starbase cards?

Does anyone have these light blue, horizontal stripes on their cards? It matches the color of the Romulan Unification Space Deck border and goes from just above the fluff text from right to left, fading out before it gets to the other side of the card. It is only on the Romulan Unification Space Deck and all of the Character Starbase cards and some Maneuver cards.

    Anyone else?

I know this isn't the best but you can see it just below his chin and above the white text. It is like that on all the cards. A friend of mine has the same issues. We haven't compared cards to see if they are the same ones. He bought his from a different store, too.

I can also see the blue blurr on the Promo cards in the news section. I need to look at my set to see if my cards are the same way.

The Premier edition has it to. I just checked my cards, 1/4th way through my combined starbase deck, I cannot find a character that does *not* have the blue stripe. It's also visible on the foil promo cards Picard and Q, (see Promotions section of the website).

I looked through my cards today and I found that all of the characters had it on them. This might be how you can tell if the card is real or not. I like to photoshop cards for fun but others could print off and sell Bandai's cards for their own personal game. So it is kinda like a watermark so to speak.
