Hello again everybody, for another wonderful edition of Raccoon City Survivors! On todays episode, we feature a public servant who took the law into his own hands when chaos reared it’s ugly head. Although failing to join S.T.A.R.S. twice, he led the charge into the Raccoon Police Department’s newly formed Select Police Force. His carefree attitude will charm you and his dedication will help him to carry you to the end of the game, ladies and gentlemen, its Kevvinnnnn Ryman!

Modeled straight after his Outbreak ability, Kevin starts the game off with an extra pistol in his Inventory. We couldn’t give Kevin just any pistol, oh no. We had to give him something that really reflected the powerhouse that was the .45 Auto. So we gave him Wesker’s personal favorite:

While it may not make sense that an Outbreak character has a Samurai Edge, it was clearly not good enough to have Kevin start with an additional basic pistol, and we really wanted to leverage that advantage as soon as possible, since the player using Kevin will be struggling to get the Samurai Edge online for the majority of the game. Bear in mind, although the Edge is powerful, it will not win the game on its own, so players are going to have to combine it with an extra effect or two to push it to its potential.

For those who I am sure are going to ask, even if the Samurai Edge is not in the game, Kevin will start with it in his Inventory. Special issue pistol for a special police officer.

So far we have only shown you two of our Outbreak survivors, with a 3rd on the way. Then we will pass the baton to the Infected to see if they have what it takes to decimate, or convert the survivors. Stay tuned!
