Long time no speak! Hope Valentines Day was fun for everyone, as well as christmas and new years. Its been quite awhile since we posted something. Today I’m going to do my favorite thing: Going thru your comment cards!

A: I don’t either! Art wise, hes supposed to be the “Gear of War” character in the REverse: gigantic muscles, brawny attitude, and a very western approach to everything: shoot first, ask later. Very 1 dimensional, but sometimes you just want a guy to kick in the door and start shooting, and in that case, Chris is your man!

Resident Evil Roundup
For those that havn’t seen, Capcom, in the near past, released a full trailer for Resident Evil 6 (which you can view here). I’ve combed through it a couple of times and have my own personal conspiracy theories to go along with it (shaved head guy is Alex Wesker, Alex Wesker = Hunk, etc). However, what is for certain is that the game will take place on a multi-threaded storyline, with 1 following Chris Redfield in Hong Kong, 1 following our as of yet unnamed protagonist and his dutiful sidekick, and the 3rd with Leon back in the states. See how many extras you can catch in the video and share them below!
On to more closely dated matters, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City (ORC) releases on March 20th (trailer here) and allows you to take control of the Umbrella side of the equation which has been forever following the good guys. A giant what-if scenario, ORC creates a trinity of conflict with the Umbrella Secret Service, the US Special Operations military, and, of course, the infected that are now ravaging the once quiet Raccoon City. I know I wasn’t initially into it, but its definitely an idea that grows on you, and I plan on picking it up day 1 with a few friends, forming a team for multiplayer and playing to my hearts content. Do you have a favorite character from the USS?
Good to hear from ya! I for one have been and still am stoked for Operation Raccoon city. The move and shoot thats being incorporated, and from more recent news will also be incoporated into RE6, is a welcome change in my opinion. As for the USS I plan on checkin out Vector and Spectre, tho I imagine I will have a go at all of them at some point. Also I think it would be awesome to incorporate the ORC into the dbg, could you imagine having some of the games favorites like Leon or Claire in the mansion and having to deal with them? Any other’s thoughts on this?
Awesome ideas. I would like to add some:
-The USS guys might be a new character type (like Infected Chars). They should focus on personal abilities and have lots of them… with some creative costs (something different from the traditional leveling up). I suggest this becaude each USS member has some unique skills, in contrast to the iconic heroes we know.
-TEAM UP!!
-Some new mechanics. As an exemple, you could explore and instead of finding a zombie you could find a weapon store (!!!) – an ‘one turn window’ that is your only way to buy some special gear. Another example: We could get a primary weapon – a weapon that we could use every turn (like the knife, or a handgun…)

Really I hope to see all of the USS playable in the DBG at some point.
So how far out are we looking for the next set? Multiple games are coming out this year, I’m excited to know if that means quite a few sets coming out this year? Will some of the sets have to do with the new games?
I will wait for RE 6, but in the meantime i would like to see the players of RE ORC (both teams) in the future sets, that will be very interesting….
Im gonna go with Beltway of the USS. Hes a really cool character and because explosives are my thing in most games. ^^
What are your thoughts on putting ORC into the dbg. I personally would love to see it happen. Goin against Leon, Claire, Birkin, Mr. X and even Nemesis!? Sign me up for that. Lol Or hell, you could even make Nemesis a playable character. That would be awesome in itself! ^^
so, no new news about the next RE board game?
