resident evil 1 & 2 new edition

i'd like to see in the near future new editions of resident evil 1 & 2 for today pcs, in fact actually they run only on windows 98 and imho would be nice to see them loading also on newer os, with newer and more detailed graphic.

it has been a tought running on my head for some years, maybe posting here would be the right occasion to propose to start something concrete

I don't care for anymore remakes. They got enough out of the way between the Gamecube and Wii games.

I would just like to see them all converted to the newer systems, i would love to play an updated version on the 360. also you can get them on the psn which is pretty cool.

Really dude? So you want a company to toss aside quality updates already produced and sold on cheap and popular systems so we can end up with more poorly executed Outbreaks? Any more remakes are strictly fan service only which means they hardly need to provide effort because you've already dedicated yourself to buying whatever has the "Resident Evil" name to it. Clearly we should cater to the whims of the Internet crowd, so full of rational thinking.

Sirenz...Methinks that was a bit...harsh? Granted, you each have an opinion on the topic, but we don't need the...aggression. I would like to see updates made to the PC games too...perhaps not in graphics or remakes, but just make the old versions compatible with newer systems...I like the old classic style RE2. Didn't dig RE1 so much (the dialogue really wore me thin), but I did enjoy the remake. I still want to own the original RE1: DC. So...maybe porting the older games to newer OS without adjusting graphics or making remakes?

And still charging full price. Dude, it probably wasn't harsh enough judging by his sanctimonious use of "omg.." at the end. Fact is, we have remakes and revisions for systems people already have or can get cheaply. There is no reason for Capcom to make an newer version to be compatible with the 20 people who want to be stubborn.

You want to own RE: DC? Ebay is that way. I am so sick of Raccoon City that I want to nuke it. Get a new bloody location.
