Medieval Chainmail is a Legit Zombie Repellent... Seriously!
I learned long ago that if you go to see a movie based on either a game or comic book and expect it to be an accurate adaptation, you'll be horibly dissapointed. That being said, the Alice movies were borderline decent. Apocalypse and Extinction were bad. the original movie was okay. Afterlife could have been good, if not for the fact that the zombies magically became Majini halfway through.
The first one is obviously the best and parts of Apocalypse are watchable while so many things are poorly executed fan service. Extinction had way too many LMOE cliches to tolerate, while seeing an older, chubbier Johnny Cage was nearly worth Ali Larter's wooden depiction. I just wish they'd end the series instead of tying in every game ending into the next cliffhanger/plot filler.
Oh boy, I apologize. My hormones are goin nuts. Now please if you would get the f* outta my way. I mean how many times I gotta f*in write "ice cream" on this f*in list before someone gets in f*in gear, and brings home the f*in ice cream? Maybe I should get a steak knife and etch it in your muthaf*in forehead! How hard can it f*in be? Ice muthaf*in cream! I guess that's the price I pay for livin with two f*in morons!
The OFFICIAL zombie murder machines of Central PA: Gatehouse Games
Well, I have played all the main console games except Survivor...and own all but Survivor and RE5 atm...I love the games...LOVE LOVE LOVE them. But I also LOVE LOVE the movies (yes, one less love). Genesis, Apocalypse, Extinction, Afterlife, 4-D Executer, Degeneration...And I am sure that I will love ****ation (Degeneration's sequel) and Retribution (Rumored name to RE 5 film). I dunno. I see them all as different mediums, I guess. Live-action vs. CGI. Film vs. Video Game. So I tend to not get caught up in which is better. I just enjoy it all and say BRING ON SOME MORE. LOL. Sorry. I am lame, I know.

I grew up playing the Resident Evil series and even enjoyed the latest RE5. I still remember my first infected encounter in Resident Evil 1; to getting startled by Nemesis when he jumps out from out of no where in RE3. I'll admit that it took me a while to finish the game b/c I was too scared to play.
I have watched the movies, and still feel the first movie was the closest to the RE (video game) universe out of all the movies; regardless, it was still a lacklus.ter toward staying true to the RE Video game universe. I'll admit it, I tried to let myself be won over by the RE films, but felt disconnected toward that interpretation from the Original story I've grown accustomed and enjoyed these years.
So when I play RE DBG, it brings back those familiar memories of playing characters of the RE series and door creaking open and the uncertainty of what lurks behind it; it may be Nemesis waiting to breakout from behind that door, or the Guardian of Inanity, a horde of zombies, or Las Plagas. When my health is low, it's time to use a red and green herb. It's these and many other aspects of the Resident Evil DBG I've found to be so enjoyable, but overall it's because it's associated with the story and style of Resident Evil video game Franchise; the reason why I purchased both DBG versions.
I saw the recent interview video where Bandai explained that if it is successful, they'll license the movies as well for RE DBG. In my opinion, this is a bad decision because the movie itself is a poor adaptation of the video game series and ratings for the most part are roughly terrible to decent.
If people do not love it or the least bit excited for it, it's not worth being in production. If I was an investor for the movie base DBG, I would feel that I would most likely lose money. Also making Movie Base DBG just to release another product, isn't a good idea. It's like a movie company making another sequel just because they can.
Then again, the longevity of the Resident Evil Franchise is still holding strong with bottomless wallets in various aspects; there will still be the beloved RE video games on the way to be fully developed, published, and released. Regretfully, the film series set to release their 5th film with prospects of releasing the 6th thereafter.
the live-action was decent. i got tired of Alice after she turned super-powered.
I have played this game and it think movie is also good
