Can any admin enlighten me on this?

2 questions. First on Jim's ability: say I deal 40 dmg and I'm on both level abilities. I skip the first ability (not flipping a coin) and I declare to explore. I revealed a licker with 40hp. So in this senario my friend decided to use a urboros infection on me. Can I use my ability to gain 2 x 10 ammo and put the licker to the bottom and waste my friend's uroboros infection or I still have to face the penalty of licker dealing me dmg?

The part which i don't understand is that which come first? When I declare I wanted to fight with the licker first or i have to declare if I want to use my level 2 ability first. Meaning if I declare that I want to fight and take the licker's decoration at a dmg of only 40, my friend can then use the uroboro's infection and add to licker's hp thus facing the penalty of dealing dmg from the licker.

Another thing is that If I go for multi explore. I deal 100 dmg total going for 2 explores. First revealed infected is Nemesis so I take its decorations. 2nd infected revealed is wesker. So I decided to use my 2nd ability gaining 2 x 10 ammo. Do I put Nemesis back to the bottom or can I keep its decoration? Cos Jim's ability last sentence read as: Move all revealed infected to the bottom. ALL revealed infected meaning before or after activating this 2nd ability? This part is confusing. If it is after, I can keep the nemesis. If it refers to the whole turn, I have to put back Nemesis to the bottom.

Second question on George's ability: Can his first ability use for herbs for their effect? Meaning If I trash a red herb and a green herb together, I heal full blood and I have +1 action and +1 explore.

Both Uroboros Injection and Jim's second ability state "When an infected is revealed..." so they'd activate at the same time. If your opponent decides to use Uroboros Injection, you can move the infected to the bottom afterward.

If you go in for multiple explores, you don't get any decorations until all revealed infected are defeated. So if you reveal Nemesis and decide to keep going, you have to defeat both Nemesis and the next monster in order to get both, otherwise you get neither, and take damage from both. And yes, if you use Jim's ability after the second reveal, both Nemesis and the next monster go to the bottom.

George's ability says "you can Trash a card..." which means you can only use it once per turn. Also, because it doesn't say "When/If you trash an herb," you can't Trash the herb for the herb's effect and for George's effect.

    Thanks for clarifying.

But for Jim's ability. Say I go separately for 2 explores. I declare a riot shotgun and kill a licker. So I keep the licker first right and I have +1 more explore. So I feel safe and decide to declare a six shooter and I revealed wesker but I can't kill it. So I use Jim's ability. Do I still put both the licker and wesker back, or just wesker? You see if I do not use my ability, I still get to keep licker but I have to take dmg from wesker.

If you do that, thats seperating your explores.

You would keep the licker, but you would lose any damage the Riot Gun had left over in declaring the Six Shooter; you would have JUST it. In a nutshell, it works like this:

Riot Gun AND Six Shooter together: 95 damage. If you pull Licker and Wesker with this, you get smashed by both.

Riot Gun alone, then Six Shooter alone. 45, then 50 damage. You kill the Licker with the 45, but then Wesker smashes you when you meet him with the 50.

If you separate your explores, Jim's second ability only affects the Infected that are currently Revealed, so that Licker is yours to keep, but Wesker gets sent away.

    - Once Played, the ammo and gold on the card can be used for the rest of the turn, unless otherwise stated.

    Collect Gold

    scenario 1:
Do i get the gold if i only have 5 ammo cards?

    scenario 2:
what is once played? is it putting down cards on the play area? Or do i have have a weapon that requires ammo? Do i still need to explore?

    scenario 3:
    i have a handgun and 4 ammo x10. Do i get 20 gold or 40 gold?

    Field Layout

What is a resource pile? How is it different to the resource area? Are they cards faced down, piled up and placed in the resource area, A ?

In one scenario, I am playing RE: DBG 1st set. In Story Mode and First Time Scenario.

What cards are placed face up in the resource area?

    1 ammo x10
    1 ammo x20
    1 ammo x30

    1 Handgun
    1 Burst-Fire handgun
    1 Combat knife
    1 Survival Knife
    1 Green Herb

    1 Umbrella Corporation
    1 Mansion Foyer
1 Escape From The Dead City
    1 Deadly Aim
    1 Shattered Memories
    1 The Merchant
    1 Reload
    1 Grenade
    1 Six Shooter
    1 Pump-Action Shotgun
    1 Automatic Shotgun
    1 Bolt-Action Rifle
    1 Semi-Automatic Rifle
    1 Assault Machine Gun
    1 Full-Bore Machine Gun

In order to gain gold, you must play ammunition cards. You do this by simply putting them face up in your play area. You can do this anytime during your turn regardless of anything else you plan to do or have done on your turn. You only play weapons when you are going to explore. So if you had a hand of 5 ammox10 cards, you play them all and then would be able to gain/buy a card and since you don't have a weapon, you'd probably want to end your turn after that.

A resource pile is any one particular pile of cards in the resource area. The resource area typically consists of the 18 different cards that can be gained (purchased) during the game.

    1 Full-Bore Machine Gun

When creating resource piles, you would typically take all the cards in that pile and then put that pile in the resource area. Some weapon piles also include a single copy of a special weapon.

Example: Umbrella Corp would mean that you take every copy of the Umbrella Corp card that you have to make a pile in the resource area.

Example: the handgun pile would include every copy of 'handgun' plus one copy of the Burst Fire Handgun. When you have weapon piles that have 2 different named cards, you would take them all, shuffle the pile then place the pile in the resource area. I suggest placing the pile face down, so the location of the special weapon, which is usually much better than the others, won't be known until it is actually flipped face up.

^ Thanks hero_guy. Now i feel like an idiot. I played the game with my warped rules for 1 full day:

    Collect gold only if
    a. You have a weapon that requires ammunition.
    b. Amount of ammunition used is the total gold you received. Action card that provides ammo is not included for gold collection such as [Deadly Aim].

Example: Handgun uses 20 ammo and i have 4 ammo x10 but i only collect 20 gold.

What does this mean considering the fact that the infected goes to the bottom of the deck when you fail to kill it how can the next player attempt to kill what is on the bottom of the deck already.

I have a quick question about the mansion. So I am using the scenario for the mixed game lets assume Top of the Class. When using these scenarios what is the proper way to manage the mansion. Do I.
    A. Use all of both mansions minus the partner cards.
    B. Use one of the mansion decks either A or B my choice.
    C. Or do I use a mixture of both decks keeping the deck limit to 30 cards or however many cards its supposed to be.
    D. Is there some way that some of you use that you find that you like.

Me and my friends are always confused on how to match scenarios and mansions between the 2 games.
