Again, I'd suggest first using the search function of the forums before posting rules questions. If you can't find what you want to know, then start a thread about it. I don't really think that this thread is the proper place to post rules questions. In any case...

If you play using that mode, when you fail to defeat the infected, it won't go to the bottom, but instead would remain revealed until it is killed or each player has had a turn fighting it. It does not count towards your explore if you were not the one that actually revealed the infected initially. I'm unsure what happens if a player has been skipped (via zombie butcher); I don't know if it still counts as a turn or not. Use your best judgement and/or do what your group decides.

    A. Use all of both mansions minus the partner cards.
    B. Use one of the mansion decks either A or B my choice.
    C. Or do I use a mixture of both decks keeping the deck limit to 30 cards or however many cards its supposed to be.
    D. Is there some way that some of you use that you find that you like.

Me and my friends are always confused on how to match scenarios and mansions between the 2 games.
Again, this is one of those times where you would decide what you think is best. In my games, I mix both mansion into one pile, throw in a foil Infected Wesker card and the first to 50 decos wins instead of when the toughest infected is killed (since there are 3 'bosses').

It applies to the first rule book's Professional Mode.

Ok I have 3 Questions that I really can't figured it out:

    1. Can infected Characters still win? and in what cir****tances?

    2. Can Permanently dead characters still win? and in what cir****tances?

    3. What if in a 4 player game, 3 are permanently dead? is the game over and the survivor wins, or everyone counts decorations? or the survivor plays solo until boss is defeated, or he died?

    1) Yes, they can win if they have they have more decorations attached to them than any other player when either the boss is killed or all the other players become infected/killed.

    2) Same answer as the first. If they have more decorations than any other player when one of the two conditions for ending the game happens, they win.

    3) The latter; the survivor keeps playing until the boss is dead or he's dead/infected. This gives them a chance to catch up if one of the dead players had more decorations.

    Mind Control

Just wondering if you play out the card twice or apply the icons and effect twice. For example when using Mind Control on Umbrella Corporation, do you get to draw 4 cards and place 2 back on the inventory, or end up drawing 3 cards and placing 1 card back on the inventory?

    Time Bonus

I have a couple questions for mercenary mode:
    1) when you run into a time bonus card does it add +# of turns per player? or does it add that value to the pool of turns only? ie: there's 4 people playing and there is only 13 turns left and a person finds a time bonus card +1, do we add 4 more turns to make 17 total turns or +1 for 14 total turns?
    2) When you run into a combo/time bonus card does your combo stop then and there since you technically haven't killed anything that turn?

    1) It only adds +# to the pool.
    2) Yes, that's why you need extra explores.

i've been getting confused on exploring multiple times. i'm not sure if we've been playing the right way. say for instance i lay down my weapons dealing a total of 100 damage and i turn over first infected, and i see that i will have 60 damage remaining can i then decide to flip over the 2nd possible infected or not? or do i have to flip over both mansion cards at the same time not knowing the math.

edit (disreguard my question above): okay i read a few posts back, and i think i know how to better my question for a specific reasoning. say i attack with a silver ghost, i use it's effect, +1 card +1 action and i pull an ammunition card, since i've already declared my ammo used, i can't apply the newly aquired cards for that explore. but if i have +1 explore can i use those newly aquired cards to my next explore?

Hopefully this has not been asked yet, but my friends and I ran into some confusion when playing the other day.
My character was Jill Valentine and I had seven commendations. On my turn I explored using two grenades and defeated the infected boosting me up to level 2. In that situation are those grenades trashed or are they discarded thanks to Jill's level 2 ability?
