    Yellow Herb Rules

So, I've searched the forum and can't find the rules for this...

If I have multiple explores, and explore multiple times, and reveal a yellow herb (or any other item) on explore # 1, are the weapons I went in with for the first explore considered "used?"

Also, I've read that revealing the explosive barrel gives you an extra explore without your weapons being considered "used." Is this official?

    Thanks!

The yellow Herb is immediately attached to your character when it is revealed.

There is two ways you can use a +1 Explore.

    1) Combine Explores. You may decide to explore again immediately after revealing a mansion card. You will be fighting any infected that are revealed at the same time so if you do not defeat both of them you will take both of their damage. A double or nothing.

    2) Stagger explores. Exploring at different instances in your turn. Weapons can only be used once per turn. If you have used a weapon on your first explore and then decide later on in your turn you want to explore again you must use different weapons.

Revealing the explosive barrel is utilizing the first example but you can certainly wait and stagger its explore and maintain the 30 damage.

If you use all your weapons and bust open a "Yellow Herb" Your weapons are considered used.

So you can actually look at the first card you turn over in the mansion and then decide if you're going to use both explores at the same time?

Yeap, if you cant kill the infected it is generally a good idea to just not use the explore again and take the hit BUT if you are going to get killed anyway you can try and explore again with a chance to hit the barrel. ofcourse you risk just about any other bad effect aswell
