I just got my Reaper Hunk and Nurse Rebecca in the mail (courtesy of nice guy supreme, ShakeZoola). I must say I am bummed these are the first 2 new character promos that are not foil. Blasphemy!
Any particular reason these 2 weren't made foil Tylar? The Hunk would have looked really cool in particular with the moon effect if he had been foiled.

Indeed.
I thought it was... odd, but I wasn't especially upset. I'd actually prefer all the characters to be non-foil (for a couple reasons), but the fact that these new promos are NOT foil and the others were is mildly annoying.
Like I said, though, I'd prefer all characters to be non-foil.

I got an extra copy of each of them when I stopped into my lcs today. I honestly never even noticed they weren't foil, but it's no big deal to me. Got to see the game mat, too. Hope to win it saturday.

I mean how many times I gotta f*in write "ice cream" on this f*in list before someone gets in f*in gear, and brings home the f*in ice cream? Hmm, I thought maybe they stopped making foils to cut production costs but the Weskers could be leftover from that Gencon making the Outbreak girls our last foil promos.
