WE-048 Hunting Bow question
I have a question about the effect of the Hunting Bow,
First it states that "If there are no actions in your Play Area, this weapon gets +10 Damage during this turn.". So that seems to be obvious, you don't play an Action up front, and when you use this weapon it deals 30 damage instead of 20.
The second part of the effect reads "While this weapon is in your Play Area, you cannot play Actions.". As I understand, you first play an Action and afterwards play any weapons and/or ammunition. So how can this weapon effect prevent me from playing actions if I already used the Bonus Items or effects from an Action before I play this card? Or does it prevent me from using the Bonus Items (ie. extra ammo from Melee), or effects (ie. + 10 damage from Melee) from an Action after I play the hunting bow.
For instance, I first play my Action:
Melee (+10 damage and +20 ammo),
Then play Hunting Bow,
because I've used an Action, the Hunting Bow is at the regular 20 damage,
then I Explore, but because the Hunting Bow effect states that I cannot play Actions (which I have nonetheless done before anyway), my +10 damage (and wasted +20 ammo) doesn't count?
I'm kinda confused about that second part of the Hunting Bow effect txt.

The effects of any actions you play remain. You'd be doing 20+10.

The effect says "if you play this before any other actions, it deals 10 extra damage. Once you play this, though, you cannot play actions any more."
It's just to keep you from playing the bow for 30 damage, then playing actions afterwards.

Thx, that clears it up

Shatered memories can be played though since it does not go in your play area, it is trashed.

Only before exploring with the Bow, not after.

By that logic, Partners, Cornered, and Symbol of Evil would all be good too (before the explore).
-
As would be Returned Favor.
