I can't help but feel some of them when because of the character on the card rather than the effects . . .

As for today's match, I agree with SMaster. Merc Chris is good, but given that 4/5 sets give us at least one good Trash card(Ominous Battle, Quirk of Fate, Parting Ways, Anticipation) and that there are so few truely great +Explore cards, LiN wins.

Honestly, it wouldn't suprise me. I've seen comments on these going "BARRY IS MORE MANLY THAN WESKER" or "LEON WOULD BEAT EVERYONE BECAUSE HE IS THE BEST" or "ADAS HOT"

Kinda makes me wonder just how many of the FB followers play this.

(also, funfact; S in my name stands for Smash, IE Smash Master 777. So if you think the name sounds awkward, thats why, its a shorthand. :P)

    Mercs Barry vs. Primer Rebecca.

...I really wanted to vote Becca, I really did, she's NEVER let me down, but that deco chain has the potential to be HUGE. Even if it fails, the Barry player still gets to see the next card in line and can use it for a mindgame to the other opponents. Gotta give it to Barry.

    Primer Wesker vs. Outbreak Chris.

You know, had this been Alliance, Mercs or LIN, I'd say Chris. Here, I gotta say Wesker.

    Premier Claire and Billy.
I say Claire, but that's just my dislike of big deck tactics. Even in Nightmare I just soldiered on and hoped I didn't hit anything to nasty; I always would, but that's beside the point.

Holy crap, Round 2's over already? Tylar, bracket update tomorrow, right?

Also, I said Claire as well; Billy's gimmicky, and, if used incorrectly, hes HORRIBLE. If used correctly hes vicious, don't get me wrong, but by comparison here, Claire is impossible to screw up playing as.

I think what people tend to forget about Claire is that she effectively has no late game. By turn 20 or whatever, who cares if she's getting 40 additional ammo with her hand? How many more weapons can that realistically load, assuming she's already drawing cards? Her mid-game is where she shines, but she still can't do as much overall as Billy. Her 70 health isn't helping her either.

Of course, the Gatling Gun invalidates this argument, but if you're actually allowing use of that card in your mansion, then you're doing it wrong anyway.

By my estimation, since Tylar takes weekends off, final battle should be Monday, 2/4. If a battle happens even ONCE on a weekend in that timeframe though, it'll end next week. Anyway...

    Primer Ada vs. Outbreak Ada.

Primer's +action triggers a lot easier than Outbreak's (READ: Sac Buy vs. Redzone Health). This one's kinda hard to call between the other two abilities, and REALLY depends on the player. Big Deck players want Outbreak, Small Deck players want Primer. As a small deck player myself, Primer wins for me here.

    Nightmare Leon vs. Primer Leon.

....How are the votes for this as evenly split as they are? Nightmare's deck control power is outright AMAZING, and Primer STILL wants pistols other than the basic one on the field.
