Yoko in Partner mode question

I have a quetion regarding of (PR-006) Yoko Susuki's effect in partner modification mode.
If she is my partner and I activate her LV.1 ability ("During your turn, you can attach a card from your hand to Yoko, face down. In that case, if another card was already attached to Yoko due to this effect, move that card to your hand") does the card I attached to her count as the limit of cards I can attach to a partner?

Technically I would say yes. But I would never play it that way...as far as Im concered Yoko can attach one more if its face down...

But then I havent played partners in a long long time either...made the game too easy

We've ruled the face down exclusive to Yoko, so it's not affected by the other 2 face-up cards as that is not what the effect was intended to do & would otherwise ruin the card design
