Check the "Custom Scenarios" subforum on this site. There are a few Solo game modes people have created.

You can just play story mode by yourself.

It's not very exciting (it's better with infection mode, and maybe no respawns), but there's no reason it wouldn't work.

I actually play solo story mode regularly so that I can learn the game better. Of course, not having anyone else to compete for resources doesn't make for much challenge, but it does help to teach the game pretty well. It's basically you vs the mansion... the ENTIRE mansion. If you want to use skills, I've actuall found it to work if I randomly deal out four piles, first one with 5 cards, second with 4, third with 3, and the last with 2. Keep the first pile to the side after you've chosen your first card, then go through the others and select one; placing the remaining cards under the skill pile. Then go to the first pile, and shuffle them. Flip over the first card and that's the card you get for your last one. Then you can play as normal from there. Kind of sad that I've made a science of it, but I wanted to simulate as closely as possible the skill selection if I were playing with four people.

    Hope this helps!

If you're looking to do that, why not find some RE artwork and just make your own RE themed deck of standard playing cards? Trying to use the REBG cards for that would be complicated, at best. If you have no idea how to make such a thing, maybe you can find someone that would be willing to. I doubt it would be all that hard.
