Ruling Question about Ammunition?

Can I play multiple Ammunition at different times in the same turn? or does it have to be all at once?
Example:My hand: ammox10(3), Handgun, Combat Knife.
I play only 2 Ammox10, and my combat knife and handgun, fearing a Gatling Gun Majini. I explore and kill a Zombie Female. After, can I play my third ammox10 so I can buy a ammox20?

This is exactly what I do when I'm not dealing enough dmg and playing the original mansion. It hurts when they steal my ammo and shoot me with it...

Gatling Gun Majini isnt that hard to beat unless your diving into the mansion with alot of amount
