Stores won't get the game mats. The FB page says that store owners will need to relay the winners to Bandai.

My store isn't doing an event until the following week. :-/ Something about trying to coordinate it with their monthly game day schedule. May see if I can at least get the cards if I stop by this weekend.

Based on people's interpretations

Would you guys say the mat is best given to a winner of some sorts (best performer of 4 games or so) or in a raffle?

I only ask b/c I was given the impression it was a prize earned not randomly given lol, kind of disappointed my store's giving it away at random

It can go either way, as our instructions stated.

Personally, I'd rather it go to the player who plays the best over the course of the day's events, however some stores are much more casual than that.

Raffle is probably the most fair thing to do. You may like Resident Evil, but can't win a game to save your life. If some guy in your general area enters every tournament and wins every mat, that's no fun. Hopefully the mat will be available for sale later, like all the others have been.

Fun as all get-out today. We ran a bit long, so the top four of us are going to meet up at the store tomorrow to determine the order of victory. Here's hoping the newbies that showed are hooked.

Great, looks like I won't be getting my promos after all. The only store in my area that is still an hour away is charging people for the promos. I would have gone for fun but I won't pay money for what I am pretty sure is supposed to be free.

Hey Tylar isn't there some condition listed somewhere that stores cannot charge people to get the promos? If so "Reader Copies" in Anderson, IN is abusing their ability to run leagues.

If these promos are supposed to be free then this another case of how badly these exclusive promos are handled. Stores gouging people for what is supposed to be free is unacceptable. And even if the store is reprimanded I am still out promos and I am sure Bandai won't send them to me to make up for one irresponsible store.

Well, I found a store within 20 miles or so that is hosting a tournament Sunday night, so I'll drive over there to participate tomorrow, most likely. It's a bit upsetting the 2 closest stores to me don't seem to have anything, as they've gotten all the other promos in before.
