Just to clarify my understanding of the Custom Full-Bore Machine Gun:

Weapon text: "When you defeat one or more infected during this turn, gain 1 XP"

    1) Do you get an XP for each infected defeated during the turn? Given the response regarding Barry's ability above, I would assume yes.

    2) Does the effect of the CFBMG stretch across separate explores in the same turn?

ex. I have a hand with the CFBMG and another weapon with 2 explores. I choose to explore separately. I first explore with the CFBMG and defeat an infected, earning 2 XP (one for the explore, one for the kill). I do some other things, then explore again using the other weapon and defeat an infected. I get another XP for the explore. Do I also get an XP for this second kill?

Custom Lightning Hawk + Skill that doubles weapon effects.

The Lightning Hawk says the weapon does +10 damage for each XP removed from the character this turn. If you were to read that twice, the amount of the damage is not necessarily doubled because the amount of XP has not changed.

Player - First Effect: Remove 1 XP

Player - Second Effect: Remove 0 XP

Should the Lightning Hawk be doing +10 Damage * 2 or +10 Damage Total because the amount of XP removed has not changed?

    Thanks.
It would only deal +10 Damage. Pairing these two together simply allows you to pay twice (even though there's no reason to).

Thank you for pointing this out. The original intention of CFBMG is that every instance of exploring will only grant you +1 XP. I will fix it now.

hi, i am a little confused with the skill points.

    1. My character has 3 xp points on him, can i put 3 xp points onto a skill which needs 6 xp points to activate it ???

    2. Can i put more than the required xp points onto a skill card? e.g it cost 3 xp to activate it but can i put more points on it ?

    3. Once i have put the required skill points onto a skill card, is it permently activated or do i have to keep paying skill points to activate them?

thanks for the help if you reply

I did not recall seeing a restriction to adding points to a skill in relation to 1 & 2. Only that it is not activated until the requirement is met. Since some skills consume points even once activated, I would think for #3 that you still need to have the minimum number in order to continue using the skill. Some enemies will cause XP to be removed, so points need to be re-added.

Quick question about Ammo x 30.

You can use it for a Buy, choose not to Explore, then put it on top of your Inventory?

You can do this for multiple Ammo x 30, so feasibly you can consistently draw 5 of them every turn and get whatever you want?

It sounds like the only balancing factor is the fact that everyone is going to be accelerated... I'm going to have to use more grenades.

Correct, you can keep throwing it back on top of your inventory until you explore. The Ammo x 30 ability may look overtly powerful in a vacuum, but it is actually quite balanced in game play. I don't think I've ever put more than two back in any one turn and usually that comes at the expense of a productive explore. Sometimes I'll put one back to guarantee ammo for a weapon that I know is coming up.
