Question for the Custom Lightning Hawk and the Custom Standard Side Arm, when do I trigger its effect? Example do I need to declare it before the infected is revealed or can I wait till the infected is revealed and see if I even need the boost the declare it?

Do you get an XP for each Infected you kill with Barry's effect if you used the Custom Full Bore Machinegun?
hi, i am a little confused with the skill points.
1. My character has 3 xp points on him, can i put 3 xp points onto a skill which needs 6 xp points to activate it ???
2. Can i put more than the required xp points onto a skill card? e.g it cost 3 xp to activate it but can i put more points on it ?
3. Once i have put the required skill points onto a skill card, is it permently activated or do i have to keep paying skill points to activate them?

also with barry's ability, each time he uses his ability to reveal the mansion, is he getting a +XP point ? i am thinking NO.
Finally got a few games in. One question that popped up.
Custom Lightning Hawk + Skill that doubles weapon effects.
The Lightning Hawk says the weapon does +10 damage for each XP removed from the character this turn. If you were to read that twice, the amount of the damage is not necessarily doubled because the amount of XP has not changed.
Player - First Effect: Remove 1 XP
Player - Second Effect: Remove 0 XP
Should the Lightning Hawk be doing +10 Damage * 2 or +10 Damage Total because the amount of XP removed has not changed?
