There was talk about Bandai putting out the best of the best cards in new cool special edition case. It didn't go over very well with the players but I have a suggestion that I think will make players happy.

What if Bandai released a mini expansion like Outbreak where they go back to previous sets and "fix" the cards that had typos/misprints and fix some of the heroes that are useless like Alliance Josh. They could add more skill cards, infection cards and maybe skill point tokens. They could revisit some of the older infected cards and give them new abilities.

I also think that they should do some player custom card contests. Then Bandai could take the best cards and have the community vote on 1 of them to be in the next expansion. It could be as simple as just doing the card text for one of the cards they are going to put in the game.

Also it would be nice if they revisited partners mode and made characters that are partner characters only.

Another Idea is to have actions that gives players a choice of 1 bonus or another. Like +2Card draw or +2 actions.

I don't need a fancy box (when they release more cards, the one box wouldn't be enought anyways), I just want foiled cards. If not a foil set of the best cards foiled, all the released characters in foil (think how there are promo foils of 1st set Ada and Wesker as well as the one version of HUNK). There could also be all of the special weapons (automatic shotgun, burst-fire handgun etc.) in foil. The gun would truely be special to snag off of the deck if it were foil. Ideally this would also have all erreta'd cards fixed in it as well (in quantities so that they can replace the orignals). My long-shot hope would be that Lost in Nightmares Jill would be fixed to not be so useless for this. To get more than just foil-crazed people such as myself buying it, they could also add in a few new cards. Perhaps joke-type cards? I've read about people wanting Tofu as either a playable character or an enemy (I think it was RE2 as playable and Darkside Chronicles for enemy). Basically a release that isn't part of the main game, but people such as myself could play ridiculous stuff like that if we wanted. Perhaps an exclusive promo in it for those completionists? Or PR-005 Wesker for that matter...

Oh just thought of it, they could include life cards. It's something cool to have, but not necessary so as to put it in a normal release. There'd need to be 4 sets, 8 if they want to make it so you have the cards for your partners.

I just want Partners and Outbreak modes revisited, new Infected Characters at the very least.

I like the idea of having a custom card contest. However going back and fixing 'bad' cards is the least of my worries. If you don't like them, don't use them. You could also substitute your own card text if you think you can do better.

And yes, it would be nice to see Partners and Outbreak expanded upon a little.

Foils aside, Everything in that list looks great. I would definitely buy a set with new or revamped content as opposed to Alt art or made into foils. Reworking partners and adding better infection Characters or cards would be a big Plus in my books.

I will never buy the same cards twice, I think honestly Bandai should look at doing what the "Living Card Games" do. They now have 3 base sets out with Mercs. They do not need to release full expansions anymore. If they just released a pack of 100 or so cards every few months with new infected, skills, weapons, characters, etc. I think that would be the best.

This way Tylar could revisit things like partners, infection, and "Las Plagas" to make players happy without being burdened with the issue of basing an ENTIRE set around it. Right buddy

If these smaller packs were released with 95% new cards I would not be terribly upset if the "Best Of" element was represented by giving us foil versions of old non-foil cards in small doses. 2 or 3 characters or infected with each pack here and there.

Honestly Tylar, take a look at the business plans for the living card game expansions. I think it would be an excellent model for REBG now that you have 5 separate unique sets under your belt.

I'm with WailingJennings. Why would I pay money twice to own the same thing on a non-consumed product? And I also like the lcg and 95% new content suggestions.

I can't get behind foil versions either. So its shinier...that effects the game...how? Foil versions of characters as prize support for league play is fine. Including them in a set I have to pay for? You're kidding me right? If this were a ccg and not a dbg, I'd say go for it. But as it stands slapping some foil on a card doesn't make me want to own it any more than usual.

I wouldn't mind seeing card type specific packs. That way if someone really didn't enjoy...say RE4, then they can skip the Las Plagas mansion pack. Or if they really love RE1 they can get the RC mansion pack. Characters might be too small a group to support its own pack so they can be bunched with weapons. Specifically tailoring the weapons to only the types found in the games that the characters in the pack are based on.

The thing I'd really like to see is official rules for 5-6 player games. I know at this point, playing with more than 4 creates too much down time between turns, but there has to be some way to streamline the rules, or modify them so that players are doing things more often even if they are doing less thing. Like everyone would buy, then everyone would play actions then explore. I know that's not the most ideal solution, just throwing out an idea.
