I play the normal way. but I mostly do the infection mode. If not that i make it a rule to explore every turn(its a must) That usually gets me going. if you play on harder difficulties that may help. or create your own to have fun. I was thinking of a scenario where maybe you can have a zombie as a partner from the mansion deck.

card sleeves would be a must for a map based campain game that way you could shuffle resouces and mansion cards together to really randomize each room. it would also be cool to have certain doors locked throughout the mansion and hide the key by shuffling with the rest of the cards that randomly get dispersed through out the mansion. OOOOOooooo!!! for each section of the mansion map you make progressively harder more rewarding decks that you shuffle a mini boss (for earning skills) and a mansion key into (i.e. spade heart diamond etc.) that is used to progress to the next area. you could also make small "merchant decks" to go into certain rooms to purchase cards from. we need to get on this haha

I usually play alone a small scenario based on Resident Evil 4, with two steps: Village and laboratories, using weapons, monsters and different actions in each mode in the mansion. When you have time post here =)

I tried a three part game like that (village, castle, island), but found the last part was way to easy and the only real threat in the castle was the Verdugos.
