Couple of questions (Alliance)
Hi, this is my first time posting here and I have read most of the posts here.
I am currently waiting for my Alliance/Outbreak/Nightmare sets through the post in the UK and have some questions about Partner Mode:
1. Can only Weapon cards be attached onto Partners?
2. Do Partners Discard their Weapons after use when they explore and fight the Infected?
That's all. Thanks for answering.
1) Some Actions attach themselves to Partners as part of their Effect and have an ongoing effect.
2) No. The weapons stay until discarded by having too many cards attached to the partner (forcing the player to decide what stays and goes) or an effect requires you to discard or trash one of the attached cards.
I also have another question. It's about Jack Krauser's 2nd ability in Alliance.
It states that it gets +10 dmg for every card in his hand. Does this mean the number of cards he has currently after he has played his cards in the play area. For example, his five cards are a Handgun and 4 x10 ammo card. He plays all five cards for the purpose of exploring and buying from the Resource Area.
Since he played all his cards in the play area and has no cards in his hand, does he not get the effect or can he still deal extra 50 dmg regardless whether the cards in his hands are played or not?
The latter. He only counts cards you haven't played yet.
thanks for the answers. I do have another question.
I read somewhere that there are some cards that have erratas in the card text, specifically the RCPD and the Lonewolf? Can someone tells me what's the corrected text effect is, cos the one I'm reading from now is the one in its respective entries in the Resident Evil wiki website. Thanks
It should be +20 ammo on both of them, but those pictures don't want to load for me to be sure.
Bandai links seems to be down for the pictures. The wiki still has their copy of it though:
Racoon City Police Department
I have another question if anyone can answer it.
I understand that in Partner Mode, Partners' decorations are the same as the Main Character, but what about in this case.
Me and my friend both select two characters randomly and in this example, I selected Josh Stone as my Main, and Krauser (Alliance) as my partner. For Krauser who has a level with no decoration requirement and he's the partner, does that mean that Krauser can't use his level 1 ability until Josh Stone is level one? Also if the former is correct, does that mean that Krauser can use more than one weapon temporarily until both characters reach level one?
Both characters share a decoration total, but they don't have to always be at the same level. In that case, Krauser would start the game at Level 1 while Josh starts at Level 0.
Josh and Alliance Krauser...? Wow, I hope you mean Nightmare Josh, or else those two kinda conflict, lol.
Anyway, as stated above, Decos are shared, but each one still adheres to their own level bars.
