    League Play for Lafayette, IN

We play on Saturdays and sometimes Sundays at the Game Preserve on 26 in the Chuck E. Cheese and McCallister's strip mall.

We have the Yoko, Alyssa, and Cindy promos available.

We don't mind teaching new players.

We also have a Facebook group and the Wesker foil promo of the Premier edition card (not the GenCon promo)

Sorry I keep posting but I keep remembering pertinent information.

We usually have three base games available. 2 Premier editions and one Alliance set (more if we know in advance).

Our character deck includes all the actual promo characters as well as the foil Wesker promo of the Premier edition's character card.

We have one copy of both expansions available for play and the store has started getting them in semi-regularly.

Shoot, makes me wish I was still in Indy. I'd love to drive up for a game.

Taught 2 new players with the Premier Edition.

Used the new handgun rule, item management, and Longbow in addition to the First Timer loadout.

    9/16/2012 Event:

6 player turnout with one new player
    used the new resources rules

1, 3player Outbreak + Premier First Timer load out with two players with 6 decorations each becoming Infected Characters while the third blew past with the Automatic Shotgun and Lightning Hawks, keeping his infection count to a minimum with injections and lucky antivirus draws. Outbreak Characters were used.

1, 3player Nightmare + Alliance First Timer load out with the new player getting hit a lot early on, one taking the lead early but losing out because of a bloated deck, and the winner drawing cards and making his closest competitor discard a card a turn. The new player lost but knew how to play after one game, the runner up owned all of the machine guns and the winner took it with 43 decorations. Nightmare characters were used.

    9/17/2012 Event:

4 player game, new resource rules, custom Resident Evil 5 mansion with some Nightmare stand ins for Chainsaw Majini and soldier Majini, 3 Barrels, trap door, laser sight, and flak jacket.

One and Done Load out, Pistol Leon, Luis, Nightmare Wesker, and Nightmare Chris.

No one really used the grenades effectively. The one time I used a flashbang, I pulled out Uroboros Aheri with another monster.

Pistols were bought and sacrificed a lot.

Rocket launchers became the modus operandi.

I bloated my deck with Raccoon City PD with no weapons.

Chris had bad draws and luck.

Wesker lead until he took 10 x 10 ammos from 2 Duvalias.

Pistol Leon won with only pistols and just after he bought his first rocket launcher of the game, the mansion was just the laser sight on top and Wesker underneath and he knew it because the 15 health Majini Chris killed.

Pistol Leon won with 37 decorations.

This made my friend's third victory in a row.

Not really anything "league-y" but we did play on 9/20/2012

2 Mercenaries games using the Premier edition's loadout with characters from every set.

Master of Unlocking led to some hilarious exchanges while one guy built up combos like a mad man in the first game.

In the second game, master of unlocking wasn't really picked up that much. Two of us died from rushing the mansion with small arms and the same player who won trailed for most of the game before starting up a four card combo pile with 8 decorations in it to win the game with.

If Lafayette wasn't an hour and a half drive for me. I'd be up there on a regular basis.
