This is pretty confusing. For example, the Silver Ghost weapon gives you +1 Card and +1 Action when using it. Really the only point of gaining any actions AFTER exploring would be to get more Gold cards assuming you didn't already use your Buy before going into the mansion.

I like the idea of the text but it seems kinda wasted by having to explore before getting to draw cards etc. Like I said, the only point I can think of would be to acquire more gold to buy resources on the current turn.

Although now that I think of it I suppose there are some useful action cards you could play such as Quirk of Fate, etc, where you could trash cards.

The Silver Ghost is a great weapon but it is not a beginner's card really. Here are some uses I can think of.

-The most obvious is if you haven't used your buy yet and draw an ammunition card you will have more buying power.

-If you draw a Herb or First Aid Spray you can heal yourself which is especially useful if the revealed Infected hurt you.

-If you draw a useful action like Quirk of Fate.

-It is subtle but it helps you draw though your deck more and eventually shuffle your discard pile into your inventory.

-With Alliance Jack Krauser it increases his damage due to his effect. Normally this wouldn't net you more damage overall but if partnered with Premier Leon who is attached with 2 Silver Ghosts then you can get some major card advantage and increased damage.

-Most of the time when you have multiple explores you use them at once with all the same weapons. But with Sergei Vladimir you can easily get extra separate explores so the Silver Ghost can help recharge him for future explores that turn. I think this same strategy could be applied to a lesser extent to Outbreak Hunk if haven't used his ability yet and you draw really well. Premier Ada and Alliance Carlos are good partners for this strategy.

Yea good point on the First Aid Spray / Herbs. You could use an item for sure.

im pretty sure i got it right but just to make sure if i explore and use silver ghost and draw a weapon i CANT use it because its past the point of calculating damage correct?

That is correct.

Why can't you? I mean, like tylar said, you explore, play the weapons and get the bonus, so if you play it and draw a weapon it is just as good as if you already had another wepon already in your hand.

Also the use of +1 action helped me once on a split explore where I picked desperate escape.

Because you play all weapons before any effects are applied.
