    Infection Level in Mercenary mode?

    A quick question-

If playing mercinaries mode with the Outbreak mansion & characters does infection level increase as normal? I know that you lose when infection level reaches 10, but does infection level increase when you don't explore or only when a specific card tells you to?(Yawn, Power of the T-Virus).

I dont think mercenaries is compatible with infection mode...the best way i have seen to deal with infections from monsters when not playing outbreak mode is to draw an ammo x 10 for each infection level you are supposed to take.
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.

Are you sure about this? Excella's custom starting deck has two cards (Power of the T-Virus & By any Means Neccesary) that involve infection level. If you are correct this seems pretty silly.

Yes, infection levels increase normally and Excella is going to want to hit herself with the Power of the T-Virus early and often so that her abilities have a chance to trigger!

Outbreak rule Book page 25, "A Character will NOT return as an Infected if there Maximum Infection Level is met or exceeded." I had to have it pointed out to me as well.
