    Attaching cards

What cards can be attached to your player? Do you attach weapons? Items? or other cards?

Generally, you only attached the Infected you kill to the main character.

There are some special cases that attach additional things to your main character:
    • Items you find in the Mansion are sometimes attached to the main character (Yellow Herb in Premiere, Kevlar Armor in Outbreak)
    • Some Actions can be attached to your main character (Symbol of Evil, for example) as part of their resolution

In partner games, your partner is a pack mule!
    • You can spend an Action to attach a weapon from your hand to your partner
    • Some Actions attach to your partner as part of their resolution

And your partner can only have two cards attached to him, while your main character has no limit.

So from what i have seen Alliance was set up to either be added to base or if played on its own it really wants you to play with a partner in order to beat the infected. Because it was getting really hard to beat any infected and I had all the +4 cards in my hand and I was still having a very hard time getting weapons and ammo together and I trashed all the ones you get in your started inventory.

The Alliance mansion has the highest average base health of any of the mansions in the game; while it can be played with a single character, I suspect it was really designed for partner games where the characters will be dealing more damage.

Consider trying the Outbreak mansion with the following change: whenever a card tells you to increase your infection level, gain a Ammo x10 instead. The infected in outbreak are weaker and you won't have the pressure of Outbreak mode (which can be hell while you learn the game).

4 has a fairly good mansion for newer players, as the game rewards players who enjoy buying quite a bit of cards.

I actually like Alliance and Outbreak more than Premier. The only thing I liked more in Premier is that the mansion items/events never hurt you.

Alliance is decent as an expansion, but I wouldn't recommend it as a first set.
