Thirded on being against the idea of trying to turn it into a CCG.

CCG's are doomed to fail. Most only last 2 or 3 years tops and then just fade away. This game as a CCG would be a death sentence. My opinion is create an alternate art Wesker P-5 card so people will at least have one and also make a paper fold out playmat in the next expansion.

The whole advantage of a DBG over TCG or CCG is that you know what you are getting from each set and everyone for the most part has the same resources to start off the game. It's also easier to get new people to try it as they wouldn't have to pay to play your set or jump in a blind purchase. If they like the game then they can purchase their own copy and the game spreads. In collectible games you have to invest a grand deal more into the game to get a good deck at least.

I think that's why Bandai decided to go with the DBG route with Resident Evil and looks like Star Trek as well which I believe had a CCG previously.

I don't think Unique Promos are the best idea with this game but if Bandai gets it to work more power to them.

So did anyone else notice that they created a launch event for the new expansion via facebook? Looks like it's dropping November 2nd.
