Spell check will not tell you words that are not used right, and people will frequently read/see what they expect, not what is. Especially if the reader is the person who wrote it.
I get your point regarding "heath" but even chrome's spell-checker detects "durning" and "durn" as a misspelled word.
"My Name is Chris Renfield, I refuse to carry weapons for basic self-defense in a zombie infested mansion, because I punch rocks and not afraid of anything."
Tzer, regarding your signature, is it inspired by the scene which Chris contnuously puched a rock into a lava stream in RE 5?
I don't know why your computer says it's not a word when mine does and I can type durn into the google search bar and have it give me the definition.
With how few people the early sets, at least, had working on them most of they people probable knew what it was supposed to say, so their brains inserted the correct words. I did the same thing in both cases until it was pointed out to me, because, like them, expected to see health and during.
i agree with yur statement, the only issue is the fact that RE DBG doesnt have a big fan base. Thus if a good amount of people boycott the game, instead of fixing it Bandai will just shut it down. These games are not like Yugioh or Magic the gathering where if they make a mistake and numbers drop, they can fix it and people come running back. Most people never even heard of this game, so if RE DBG's player/fan base lowers, its more likely to be dropped than fixed. Yes some of the silly mistakes are kinda annoying since a set is around $30 or less but the fact is with probably a small group of people working on this game, mistakes will be made, and sadly unless the game gets more support then there will be more mistakes unless they have a growing player base which doesnt exist. If at all its decreasing. It all relates back to money.
What Bandai needs to do is:
- Continue making new additions to the game/new modes.
- make a tournament mode (im sorry leagues cannot be played with the current modes takes forever and the game is dull on a serious level compared to playing for fun)
- Advertise more (seriously im pretty sure most people dont know this game exists)
- dont make 150 card sets priced at the same for 250, regardless of the extras, the extra stuff should be so we actually want it.
- Dont leave the player base in the dark, or else these threads will continue until no one even cares about the game and moves on
I agree that bandai should do to increase sales and promotion is to generate tournaments.
could also increase public with ideas how are you.
1.Create 20 letters special weapons, characters, etc. infected. and in every box you buy, they are 2 of the way some people buy more boxes for these special cards.
2. create tournaments.
3. the rate creation of new sets that way more people will see and will have scope to the product.
4.utilizar weapons and actions of resident evil resident 1,2,3,0 and other classics, I think I like more the m79 grenade launcher that of re5.
No, I think making the game with random cards and "collectible" is a very bad move. They have tried to conduct tournaments with their league packs, so they have been trying, at least.
I think what they could very well do is expand the market.
Ship some copies over to the UK (as they have done before) or getting translated versions for the European market. Resident Evil is a brand that is popular enough to be a BIG draw even for non-boardgamers and I think that's also a big part of the success. They just have to tap into the same market in europe.
"My Name is Chris Renfield, I refuse to carry weapons for basic self-defense in a zombie infested mansion, because I punch rocks and not afraid of anything."
Im w Tzer. Making this game "collectable" would **** me off. One of the main reasons I enjoy this game and preorder every expansion is because when I buy a set I am getting the WHOLE set. None of this "Oh now I get to spend more and more money in the hopes I MAY get that card I really wanna use!" I played SWCCG about 13 years ago and I remember getting my butt handed to me by certain people because they had money and jobs and could constantly buy cards...while I had to wait for my birthday or xmas. I like the fact that we dont have to constantly buy packs...if that were to be instituted then the game would die. It would die because now it is competing with MTG and those other more established CCGs. While this is doing just fine as a DBG.
Expanding would also be an awesome idea. I often send promos to a few of our overseas posters here and believe me those guys could use the support. The franchise is big enough and the interest is out there...it just needs to be tapped into.
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.
