Timeline for RE in 2012

So, are we going to find any promotional cards for RE DBG in our copies of "Revelaitons", Tylar? :P

Would that be a good idea? I mean, not everyone has all of the consoles and handhelds. If you start releasing promos in various items outside of the card game ideals, I would think there might be some fan backlash. I, for one, know that I don't have the kind of money to be buying Revelations, ORC, the movies, et cetera until they go on sale and after I get the proper things to play them on. It would disappoint me greatly to not be able to have a chance to acquire the cards because I am poor. I do enjoy the fact that I can play for those promotional cards though, at no high extra costs to myself. Just in my own opinion, I think they should keep the cards, the games, and the movies all separate from specials cross-media. Again...that's just my opinion- UNLESS, they offer those same promos in a variety of ways. Then, perhaps, I would be more inclined to be persuaded. LOL.

I realize there are some people here who probably haven't touched one of the video games, but I personally have bought every game they've ever released (except for RE Gaiden for Gameboy Color), and will continue to do so.

Anyway, this game needs more exposure, and including a promo card inside the video games would be the most effective way of doing that. Putting an advertisement on the back of the instruction manual was a good start, now we need something tangible so the people will hold it in their hands and say "Hey this looks kind of cool, what is this RE Deck building game anyway?"

so sadly were only going to be getting one expansion this year, or is that subject to change?

Well... there's only one expansion announced right now. But there was a post somewhere in this forum where Taylor, the game designer, stated that there will come a new base set in 2012 and as I know RE DBG it is also possible that there will also be another expansion in winter.

well i will hope for 2, i still need to pick up some of the current expansions anyway lol i just hope the box can fit all previous 4 expansions and has more dividers to go with the new cards

Is there a release date for the mercenaries expansion yet? I know it's due for release sometime this month but outside of that I know nothing else...
