RE League in St. Louis, MO

Just a call out to any players in the St. Louis area interested in some league play. Our small league has been going strong since August, and we have a pretty good format settled in.

League is every Monday night at 6pm, at Game Nite on Watson Road. (Where Miniature Market used to be) Currently we do not charge an entry fee, but we may change that in the future, ONLY if the player interest is there for more prize support. (i.e. - Entry fee would help us purchase more playmats, games, or store credit for tourny winners.)

We normally play 3 consecutive 1 hour time limit rounds, then the following Monday play a 2 hour Finals & Consolation round. The hour rounds go as follows: Round 1 - RE Premier Set Singles Story Mode, Round 2 - Alliance Set Partners gameplay, Round 3 - Outbreak Set Singles Infection Mode. Then the Finals and Consolation rounds are all 4 sets mixed to perfection, weekend killer Mansions, and either Singles or Partners mode depending on the groups decision.

We've handed out each of our league playmats as prizes already, but we still have alot of Jim, George, Cindy, Alyssa, Yoko, and Premier Wesker Promos to hand out.

I am currently designing a Leaderboard for display at Game Nite so the top players can bask in their Infected killing glory. Plus, we will be giving in-game perks for the top 4 players as well. (i.e. - current 2nd place on the leaderboard gets to pick an Action from any set to include as a Resource pile for the current round, etc.)

We're are very friendly and encourage new players to join!

This was printed out at poster size, 24x36, then framed so that I can use dry erase markers to update it frequently. It is a little bit pixelated printed at that size, but nothing drastic.

The top 4 leaderboard perks we use are as follows:
1st place - Choose a card to be added to the Mansion deck for the current round.
(i.e. - Player chooses to put the Yellow Herb cards into the Alliance Mansion)
2nd place - Choose an Action card to be in the Resource area for the current round. This replaces an existing Action card from the Resource area.
3rd place - Choose a Weapon card to be in the Resource area for the current round. Replaces an existing Weapon.
4th place - May choose the 1st place player's Main Character for the current round. This selection is made from the random characters the 1st place player has drawn at the start of the round.

Hi There! I happen to be in the saint louis area and I'm interested in playing the resident evil deck building game because I'm a huge fan of the videogame/novel series and the concept looks alot of fun! I will admit that I have never played a deck building game before but I checked out the flash tutorial on the website on how to play and it seems really cool. I know you have your league play on monday nights, but do you have other nights that you do normal play? I'm really interested in league play, but I would like to play the game outside of leagues a couple of times so that I don't slow down the league play? Also I guess this post serves to see if this league is still in action. Thanks!

Sorry I haven't responded sooner, I have been offline for quite some time.

Our league is still going every Monday night, feel free to join us sometime.

We normally have 4 - 6 players, and I always have an extra game setup for beginner/tutorial play, for any new players who just want to try it out. Game Nite has demo copies of each RE game on hand for anyone to stop by and freeplay as well.
