Question Advice on expansion purchase please?

So I've had premier for a little while now, and though i wouldn't say I'm bored, i feel there's a serious lack in variety with premier and was curious as to what the much more seasoned players have to say about the expansions. What would add the most variety specifically in the weapons and character departments? i was also wondering how focused nightmare was on its Re4 theme cause honestly, i hate that fu*kin game more than survivor.

-Alliance gives us Partner mode, stronger Weapons, and some of the highest health/damage Infected in the game.

-Outbreak has the Outbreak mode(pretty much a built in timer for story mode), Several Infected and Characters that can really only be used in Outbreak mode, and two Events that can easily kill you.

-Nightmare focuses on large Inventories and is heavily RE4 themed.

-Mercenaries is best described a Premier 2.0. It has improved basic resources that help speed up the game, Skill mode, instructions to build 3 different Mansion using the 70+ Infected it comes with(almost all of which have effects), and is my favorite expansion yet. The only problem is that it is also the first set to have only 8 new Character.

Check the rulebooks up in the how to play link to find out about the new game modes.

thank you alot forte. The brief descriptions of each expansion ive read around the internet gave me no fu*cking clue as to how each expansion effects the game other than the new game modes and random little tid-bits but you definitely provided me a good break down of each set. I was already leaning towards mercenaries and this definitely solidified that decision. Im not personally to keen on the fact that i already have one iteration of each of the character cards even more so than there's only 8 of them; although this doesn't really matter beacause ive already a 150 card homemade expansion in the works so i think i can live with that so long as i put a little more effort into characters.

thanks again forte, take it easy homie

Mercenaries and Nightmare are my two favorite expansions so far. Outbreak I've only played a few times, and it didn't sit well with my group of friends because we felt too out of control of the game. Alliance is really cool, and I do like partner mode.

For instant customization and variability, I'd go Mercenaries. Skills really changed our game, plus the effects on nearly everything added so much. BTW, take it easy on bypassing the censors.
Oh boy, I apologize. My hormones are goin nuts. Now please if you would get the f* outta my way. I mean how many times I gotta f*in write "ice cream" on this f*in list before someone gets in f*in gear, and brings home the f*in ice cream? Maybe I should get a steak knife and etch it in your muthaf*in forehead! How hard can it f*in be? Ice muthaf*in cream! I guess that's the price I pay for livin with two f*in morons!

If you build an environment of RE4 use the Nightmare because it has guns and some infected and expansion Expendables because it brings the infected village of RE4.
Player isolated northern Brazil, in love with RE DBG.
