    Talking Devour Ruling?

The instruction booklet has a picture of Devour on pg 12. The ruling on it is somewhat visible and it says something about full health.

The actual card says Heal your character by 20 Health.

Now when playing infection cards i can only play them on my turn (unless stated otherwise) and only if i'm an infected. Right?

    Questions:
Can this card be played on my opponents turn to reduce damage by 20?

When would i need to heal myself by 20?

Why are there two versions of this card?

I've searched up Devour Ruling on this site and found nothing.
    Thanks.

No it cannot be played on your opponents turn only on yours. You would heal yourself during your explore after you do your damage. There arent 2 versions of this card...just the one that came in your box.
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.

I think you're having a misunderstanding that also cropped up on bgg.

When a human character attacks an infected character, they don't need to do enough damage to defeat you in one explore as they do with mansion infected. If they don't do enough to defeat you, they take your base damage in return, but whatever damage they did stays on the infected character. So you would need the healing ability to restore some of this damage.

The version in the rulebook is probably an earlier playtest version.
