Question about infected characters health.

So im a little confused on how it works when I try to attack infected characters? Do I try to meet or exceed the infected characters health or am I able to do little bits of damage every turn till the infected character is dead? Thank you.

You are able to do little bits of damage every turn. Their health works just like yours. Keep in mind though if you fail to kill them you still take their base damage as if they were a mansion monster.

As the attacking human character, does your infection level increase if you fail to kill them on your turn?

No. Attacking an infected character counts as an explore.
