couple of questions
Hi, I'm from the UK and finally received my last 3 expansions and have some questions about the Outbreak set. I read most of the posts but just need some clarifying.
1. I heard this game is not playable with just 2 players because if one character has turned into a Infected Character and I killed the 2nd player, he dies and it's game over, therefore making the game finish quickly without beating the boss. Maybe I read it wrong but hopefully that's not the case.
2. I understand that when you are a Infected Character, you combined your Inventory, Discard Pile and your Infected Cards together. You drew five cards and you ahve no infected cards on you. I know that one of the Infected Characters does based damage. My question is that considering that Infected characters can't use weapons unless stated, can someone tell are there any weapons that infected can use except their own effects.
3. Can a Non-infected character Explore AND fight against the Infected Character or can he only choose one or the other?
4. Just need some clarifying, in a 2-player game, if both players are both infected, it's game over and we count the amount of decorations we earned and determine the winner?
5. There's a Infection card (i forgot the name) which deals 5 dmg and says it deals a additional 5 dmg for every copy of that card you played. How does it work? For example, i got 4 copies of that card and play all four for a total damage of 20 (4x5) and deals a additonal 5 dmg (i played 3 extra, so 3x5=15dmg) for a total of 35 dmg. Is this correct.
Sorry for the questions. I really appreciate the help. Thank you

1) It's really a matter of personal opinion. I think it's playable with 2, but there are strategies that hurry the game that don't exist otherwise.
2) There are currently no weapons/actions/items for Infected characters, just the Infection cards.
3) He can do both if he has extra explores (since attacking requires using up an explore), but he'll have to use different weapons for the explore and the attack.
4) Yes. Same procedure as if all players died in a non-Infection game.
5) Bile Vomit. As confirmed by Bandai, each Bile Vomit checks to see how many were played and gets the bonus damage. So each Bile Vomit would do 5 (base) + 3 * 5 (bonus for additional vomits) = 20 damage per Bile Vomit. If you've got 4, you're doing 80 damage.

I have another question.
It's about the By Any Means Necessary card. I read a topic about it a couple of times but just want to make sure. I forgot the card effect but it states you can decrease your infection level by any amount, then increase your infection level by same amount but minus-1 of that amount.
I read that the text was a bit misleading, some says the text effect just decrease your infection level by one and another says this is true but you get to at least remove 1 unwanted infected card this way.
Sorry if I answered my own question but just want to make sure before I play Infected Mode with my friend. Thanks

You pretty much answered it. By Any Means Necessary lets you throw back X Infections you don't want to let you draw (X-1) new Infections of the top of the Infection pile. So you get to refine your infections while also reducing your infection level by 1.

Also another thing. I was going through the rulebook (Outbreak) and noticed in one of th epages there is a screenshot of the Devour card. Some of the text is blocked by the red circle and noticed it has a diiferent effect compared to the printed version. I was wondering if there was some last minute changes or something?

Yep. There are a few differences in the manual and the printed game. Devour is one. The Infected Characters have names instead of letters.
