Worst Game (Playthrough) EVAR!! (Describe Yours)

I had opportunity to play 5 games at my LGS for an open gaming event which was awesome. My first game of the day was my worst ever. It's a strange phenomenon that whenever someone completely new to the game is playing I always find myself being hosed with how cards are drawn despite my normal play ability and no included elements of versus play. Yesterday's game proved to be no exception...

Players: 4
Mansion: 1 Boss, 4 Events / Tokens, 30 Randoms
Character: Cindy Lennox
Ending Score: 1 Decoration... 1 DECORATION!! XD

Basically cards were not lining up. I can't remember specifics, but I think I hurt myself by taking damage early on because I had a -20 Health cap soon into the game. My cards continued to not work in my favor for buying, trashing or exploring at any one time. When I finally get a good hand to action chain > explore, the player to my right explores and gets the Red Female Zombie and picks me to not play actions. Several Turns later I can finally explore I kill my one zombie at which point the lead player has 14 Decorations and the 2nd player probably not far behind. Several more turns and I can finally explore again >> Wesker. There are less than 10 Cards in the mansion I have Max Health of 30 and 2 players already have more decorations than are left in the mansion. I rage quit and let players finish, lol.

I didn't do anything different than I normally would have (which usually works well) and plain dumb luck screwed me over the whole time, XD

I hear ya on the beginner games. I had one of my worst games ever playing against a new guy with the Nightmare expansion the weekend before last. I ended up with 7 decorations while the new guy was in the high 30's I believe.

In the grand scheme, I'm fine with new players doing well if it helps the enjoy the game more and playing again, but it's funny how frustrating it can get when nothing lands right. One of the first times I saw it happen was a Alliance only game w/ characters from both sets. I had Premier Sheva and a couple of telescopic rifles. Wesker ends up on the bottom right away and pretty much locked me out of the entire game.

Ouch, looks like your game got the best of you with a couple of actions on account of text.

Single player story mode with just Alliance. I drew Steve as my character and all of you know where this is going. about two or three turns in, I decide to explore, doing somewhere between 15 and 30 damage.

I flip Wesker.

Welp, that was a good game. Restart.

I had a zinger a couple of days ago although not the worse. Early explore Sadler! Take time to recover health, Other player Cephalo forces me to explore, Sadler! Recover, get ready to Explore, Nemesis! Recover, Explore again Sadler!! FFFFFFFFFFFFF

I could not trash stuff fast enough to get rid of all that garbage, lol. I had to call that one early.

my worst game? That would have to be the time i played solo professional difficult on alliance. At that time i wasnt taking risks into the mansion and every time i explored i kept taking damage. I wasnt managing my buys correctly. Now i can beat the **** out of it. but infection mode for outbreak is a different story

Outbreak. Rebecca. Tyrant every time on my first three explores, followed by a [expletive deleted] bee! Yeah... best. game. ever. lol

Still, had fun with the people that I was playing with, so it was worth it!
