    Favorite Nightmare card.

As the title said my favorite new card is Mind Control, it is so threatening and abusive. The fact that you can potentially discard a crucial action from an opposing players hand but also get double the effects of that discard card is so huge. The game I played last night turn into a late game Mind Control war on whoever is winning and the effects were devastating. Discarding an opposing Ominous Battle to Draw 6 trash 2 +20 gold is sick and same thing with Escape from a Dead City for 2 cards and 4 actions is ridiculous.

Also that new Hunter is really amazingly threatening too. Good thing I only decided to play with one because it wrecked havoc the game and killed off 3 people over the course of the game. The best part was when it essentially double killed the leader by adding -20 to kill him cause he already he already had enough damage to be only 20 from death but now he got another -20 from that death.

Overall this new set brought a lot of fun cards and some really trolling new infected.

Lonewolf seems broken to me, it's just too powerful. I've had it do 75 damage before, so I killed the boss with it along with a grenade.

I think Broken Butterfly is my favorite card from the new set, I just love this gun.

I'm only speculating at this point since I haven't played yet, but my initial guess for new favorite characters are Leon, Josh & Mysterious Mask.

Long Awaited Dawn is also in the list now of abusive cards. It is versatile on defense and offense; offensive by setting up an optimal draw for this turn by being followed up with a draw or setup next turn, and defensive by forcing whoever you want to draw the worse two cards in their discard. This new expansion is just full of cards that can degenerate a good game into an ugly troll fest. The new rifles, Mind Control, and Long Awaited Dawn can lock players down to the point where their turn is almost literally just draw, maybe buy something cheap, and pass. Fierce Battle might've started the making people feel left out and encourage cooperation, but these new cards makes enemies out of friends really fast.

Agreed, especially about the Rifles. I got hosed really hard in a 1-on-1 game by a friend who used Chris (Alliance) plus the new rifles. He rushed the shop on all of them, and was making me discard 2-3 per turn every turn. Granted, he was only getting 1 explore per turn, but when your opponent can't explore at all, how does that even matter?

I'm also aware Sheva does the same thing even better, but it's still disgusting.

To be fair, in 1 on 1 alot of things are incredibly stupid. IMHO You shouldn't play with less than 3 players, unless you are playing mercenaries.

*ZeroWF, not everyone has the luxury of players. My friend and I player 2P story mode games all the time. We might be lucky to get a 3-4 player game at our LGS once a month.

The point is the versus cards require a different frame of mind. DBG's can be either adversarial or independent. Most of my friends prefer independent. So due to the customization of DBG's most of the time we leave out the versus driven cards that still affect story mode. To me not playing versus seems like the majority as far as how many people express similar sentiments, but its not unanimous, some people like being competitive, and players need to understand when that type of game will occur based on the players in the game and the cards made available.
