I assumed the reason it said to leave all of your cards infront of you, it meant "Don't put them back", because 90% of the people I teach always ask "Do I put my infecteds/weapons/Ammo/etc back into the mansion/resource piles" when they die, or have to leave. Not only does this rule kill Outbreak mode, but it also makes PKing an even less viable strategy post Jill Nerf :l
Exactly, that is why I always thought Outbreak mode was retarded unless people purposely tried to play bad. Jill PK could be really fun with that new Hunter if Gathering Forces isn't in the pool.
Just a thought, but I think zombies are supposed to be underpowered because turning infected IS a punishment for playing the game badly (or having bad luck), if being infected really became a viable, easy way to win, we'd see too many players deliberately turning infected...
Claire : You're a cop, right ?
Leon : Nope, just met zombies on my way to a costume party.
10 favorite games : Dominion, Shogun\Wallenstein, DooM the Boardgame, Puerto Rico, Survive : Escape from Atlantis, Small World, Catacombs, Pandemic, Ticket to Ride, Betrayal at House on the Hill
Well all you gotta do is get more decorations than everyone else, deliberately become a zombie, and ruin everyone. Then you win. That's how most of our games go.
Honestly outbreak mode is based on the mechanic of the outbreak games and i don't know if any of you had the chance to play those games online but becoming infected was equivalent to being in F*ck city without a condom so the fact that the infected characters are at a disadvantage shouldnt surprise anyone and is nothing more than staying true to the games the mode emulates. becoming infected is a penalty intended to be avoided and making the infected characters equal would destroy the entire point of the mode of play: to avoid infection while gathering decorations and defending yourself against the less fortunate among you. Maybe what we need to do is not making them stronger but to add a decoration value for character cards, perhaps based on the decorations the character has collected such as the character is worth the amount of decorations divided by x where x is the number of infected the player has killed or some such other "off the top of the head ****". (note: im not saying in any way that this is how a character cards worth should be calculated just an idea that's outside of the box to get the brainstorming started)
