    Being Infected,Underpowered?

I love the idea of becoming a Zombie, but,am I the only one who feels like being one of the Zombies is just way to underpowered?

I just don't feel like they are strong enough to be truly game breaking unless you have a couple of people try to become Infected as fast as possible.Normally, the Zombies always lose in our playgroup.

Don't get me wrong, its real fun to do so.I just don't feel like there strong enough to be a game changer.Maybe our people are doing it wrong...

It depends on the way you build your inventory and your infection deck. If you have a huge inventory and no or just a few virulent frenzy it's very hard for infected characters but if you try to keep your inventory as small as possible and build your infection deck like you want it to be (By Any Means Necessary) you will have a huge chance to kill your opponents ;-)
    My tip:
Virulent Frenzy (1-2x), Slow Armor (1x), Bile Vomit (as many as possible) and Devour (1x)
If you have these cards in your deck you are able to trash your non-infection cards, you can heal yourself, protect yourself and deal lots of damage and after your deck grew very small your abilities will grow each round.

I know what you mean. My playgroup tried like every scenario/timing possible to turn infected to try to test when becoming infected is optimal but that opportunity never arises. I think if someone is rushing infected early the other players just need to rush the mansion to gain a big enough lead so that even if the infected kills/turn them they will still be ahead of the original. And later in the game the surviving players can just team up and kill off the infected player. The fact that infected characters can't ever gain more decorations severely limits any chance of actually winning for the first infected or any infected. The only time in our games when someone becoming infected is when the decorations lead is turned through shenanigans then proceeds to get ganged banged and someone else catching up from behind and winning.

To be fair... you're just a regular zombie. Regular zombies kinda suck.

This is a terrible idea...no player character should ever be instakilled at all in my opinion, much less by a weapon as inexpensive as a flash grenade.
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.

If anything, the Las Plagas sprouting out should be an INFECTION card, not a character. You could be killed outright or take double/extra damage from other weapons or something else to mitigate the risk/reward ratio.

I would even support a new Infection character that has levels. Takes some damage, sprouts Las Plagas for a turn or two max, flash grenade death or no one can and it subsides. It would have to change the system though. And definitely not available to everyone. Maybe an event where an egg is implanted and hatches in 10 turns, using new plagas infection cards or markers.

And Premier Jill would probably eff your day.
Oh boy, I apologize. My hormones are goin nuts. Now please if you would get the f* outta my way. I mean how many times I gotta f*in write "ice cream" on this f*in list before someone gets in f*in gear, and brings home the f*in ice cream? Maybe I should get a steak knife and etch it in your muthaf*in forehead! How hard can it f*in be? Ice muthaf*in cream! I guess that's the price I pay for livin with two f*in morons!

I'd like to hear more about why people think the infected are underpowered. We played again this week at League and the infected players (2) wiped the floor with the remaining players (3) without any difficulty whatsoever.

I'm toying with the idea of banning them from teaming up with each other and forcing them to randomize (Dice roll) who they attack just to balance it out.

Unless you guys are playing differently or giving out really powerful loadouts at the start of the game or something, I really just don't understand how anyone would think the infected weren't OVERpowered, let alone anyone think they're UNDERpowered.

I hope Infection cards will not be left out like Las Plagas...
