Yes, the maximum infection level that you can gain is 10. You can float back and forth between 0-9 all game, but the second you get that 10th level you become an infected. The number of infection cards you gain does not necessarily equal your infection level. The number of infection cards you have next to your character at any given moment determines your infection level.

As you say, if I am don't explore 9 turns in a row and then reveal the Anti-Virus, then my infection level is now 6. I can gain another 3 and still remain human. And that's assuming that I don't find another way to lower my infection level before that.

Okay, I get that, but you said that you the most "infection cards" you can get is 10. If I lower my infection, wouldn't I also be able to get more infection cards when I take more infection points? If that's the case, then how can the number of infection cards next to your Character determine your points? When we heal infection do we put a card back? There's so many areas that are left out of the game manual to make it slightly annoying to play modes other than story mode.

What I'm getting from this is, you CAN have mroe than 10 cards if you can lower your infection level.

What happens when you take 2 or 3 infection in a single shot? You gain +3 infection cards correct?

Also, is the ruling on NOT Exploring you get +1 infection official?

When you heal an infection you put an infection card of your choice into the infection deck. Your infection level has now decreased by the amount of infection cards you put back. Its really as simple as that.

If you gain 3 infections then draw 3 infection cards.

Yes if you dont explore you gain 1 infection.
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.

When you lower your Infection level you take cards from your stack of Infections and put them on the bottom of the main Infection deck. You can never have more or less than 10 Infection cards when you turn Infected.

Why don't thet put that in the manual? I've looked for it and can't find it.

Thanks for the help on this one.
