Would LiN Chris' level 1 effect (-10 damage from infected) kick in if getting hit by an infected character?

    Also,

Though I believe this may have already been answered it may be worth posting an official answer here as well...regarding the Antivirus card...if you have 5 or fewer infections is the card removed from the game? Or can you move it to the bottom of the mansion if you would rather?
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.

Infected and Infected Character are not the same type of card. Most games would rule that he doesn't reduce in this case. No official word on this yet.

Antivirus always gives you the choice to remove or not. This is official.

When using Parting Ways and gain a card, do you put it in your hand or in the discard?

I asked Tylar if Chris Redfield (Premiere) got +5 damage for each infected character he is fighting as per his second ability and his response was that any reference to "Infected" and "Infected Character" are separately exclusive. This is much the same wording issue so LIN Chris would not reduce damage from Infected characters.

You would discard the gained card.

Gain is always to the discard unless stated otherwise.

"Decrease your Character's Infection Level by any amount. Then, increase your Character's Infection Level by the same amount, minus 1."

I'm not quite sure what this means. Does it mean subtract 1 from your current infection level? If so, why is it worded so strangely? Forgive me if it's obvious and I'm just not following.

Sorry if this was answered elsewhere, but a guy on boardgamegeek.com had a question about whether a living character lost decorations if he was fully killed by an "infected character" controlled by another player.

I read through the rulebook again, but I couldn't find anything about that.

pg 13, 2nd paragraph: If an Infected Character kills a non-Infected Character, whether by Infection or by Damage, the Player controlling the Infected Character randomly chooses an Infected attached to that Character and Removed that chosen Infected from the Game."

It means to move any amount of the Infection cards next to your Character to the bottom of the Infection Deck (lower), then move 1 card for every card you moved that way, minus one.

The card is worded strangely to allow for a player to customize their Deck to some degree for when they turn into an Infected. By discarding all the Infection cards you don't want, you leave yourself a chance to make yourself a bigger, badder Infected.
