It was already said elsewhere (by Tyler I believe) that Infected Characters can only use Infected cards. All other cards are useless and just clutter up your deck.

Tylar actually clarified this, Infected Players can only PLAY infected cards. However using a secondary ability of an action card does not count as playing a card. Therefore, as an infected player you can use the game text of the following cards if the timing is eligible:

Uroboros Injection (To boost regular infected health totals only when revealed but not infected characters.)
Struggle For Survival (To reduce damage of weapons of cost 40 or less to 0.)
Back To Back (Works exactly as Slough Armor does, without using one of your 10 precious ATTACK infections.)
