If you HAVE to choose one, go Alliance, but I say go both. I mix sets all the time, and basically have a permanant "Day Killer" in my mansion, lol.
I would say go premier if you only had to choose one. Premier was designed to be played solo and works well enough with partners...the weapons are also cheaper and the mansion is more conducive to solo play than alliance. You can download the alliance rulebook here on this site and use those rules if you want to use partners. I feel for a single set the premier set gives you more options and has fewer potentially game breaking cards. But if you can just get both, a new set will do nothing more than add to the game for you!!
And I hate dancing. That is one of my least favorite things to do. Other things that I hate are exercise, work, people, stupid people.

I disagree. To me, there are the same amount of cards in each set that would 'break' the game. I remember having endless draws in the first set via Escape and Fierce Battle with some Umbrella Corps thrown in as grease. Also the premier set had a much more abusive set of weapons than the new set. The second set does have its share of abusive combos/weapons also, but it is balanced out slighty by the better/harder mansion deck. In the first set being able to deal 40 dmg would mean that you could defeat all but 2 cards in the mansion. In the new one, you've got a few infected between 40 and 60 health and you've got the trap tiles, plus if you do big damage you can still get blowded up by the barrels.
