Outbreak un-Boxing Pictures!

Hi everyone,

I was holding off and waiting to see if our News section came back up. Since it hasn't, I'm just going to leave these pretty little pictures here, and leave this thread open for everyone to discuss!

First off, here is the box itself. Notice its significantly smaller size compared to the mat size above!

After opening the box, we are treated to the obvious first: Rulebook and questionnaire. I look at every one of these questionnaires, so please fill one out and send it to me, even if it is nothing but positive! I do enjoy hearing from everyone

After peeling away the paperwork, we feel two slightly thicker pieces of cardboard. What can that be?

These counters should help the majority of players never forget about their maximum health or how much Damage they have on them. I have personally never seen these until today and was blown away by how they looked! They are double sided, with the 5 and 10 Damage indicators have 5 Damage on one side and 10 Damage on the other. The -20 Permanent is -20 on both sides, so players won't get confused.

Pulling those away, we get to the main course: the storage box.

The storage box came out beautifully, not just the art but the box itself feels very stable. If you open up the box, you'll be treated to the actual cards of the Outbreak game.

It took awhile, but you finally get to the actual set. But theres more! We promised dividers for everyone, and here they are!

There is 1 divider for each card in the Outbreak system, along with the basic 6 resources. There are also a few extra dividers in case you feel like making your own.

Now I know you want to see what it looks like when its put together. Sleeved up, divided, and ready to go, here is Outbreak in its final organized form!

I personally am a big fan of this card, and now its easy to find it when I'm searching for cards for a scenario.

Of course, right after we had to play a game of Outbreak. Not only is it the favored mode of play for a great deal of us, but we just got the box in, so why not get a few games in?

No it will not. It holds all of Outbreak, the basic 6 resources, and about 50 more cards beyond that. There are 5 extra dividers.

I am only being told 4th quarter 2011.

Im not sure about the mats. That is generally what happens, but they may try something different.
