I think you're having a misunderstanding that also cropped up on bgg.

I'd hardly call it permanent. On the finish the cards have, the tape I used should peel off without leaving a mark. And for cards which I anticipate replacing anyway, not such a big deal.

I've created my own interim solution- I did a copy-and-paste job in Word using the images Tylar posted of the corrected cards, and affixed the corrected ammunition values...
