Anyone know if stores can still sign up? Or are the stores listed the only ones getting support? If not, how long does a store have to get signed up?
I also recommend playing with 3 more card piles (usually 3 actions, or 1 weapon and 2 actions) when playing with over 4 people, that way there's some more options for people and you don't run short...
I would play mercenary mode. You'll have a set number of turns to play in and as solo, it's the way to see how you can rack up the highest score before turns run out.
If you have the expansion with...
I do not think you did anything wrong. The newest Hunter just really stinks if you're in the lead. I had a similar situation in a four player game where the point leader was eliminated by Hunters...
Gatling gun does damage equal to the amount of ammo you assign to it.
Gatling gun goes to your discard pile at the end of turn. It's yours once you have it, unless someone steals it from your...
Any card that you gain during your turn goes to your discard pile (unless they state otherwise).
At the end of your turn, any cards that you played: weapons, ammunition(used for weapons or to buy...
So here's a suggestion: There's enough cards out there now you could make decks out of the available cards, generating some rules for deck building, limit of card types, what characters could be...
Just to let you know, Lonewolf is +20 Ammo not +10. Glad your enjoying the games!
I agree with necklessone's outline including that Nightmare is probably the best addition of the three to start with. One additional note: Please read the information in the News section of this site...
Using both the basic resources from the Original set and Alliance I've played several games with 6 people without issue. Only thing additional was three extra resource piles (including at least 1...
As Bowl stated:No. You cannot play Outbreak by itself. You'll need either the Original set or Alliance to start your nephew with. Personally I'd recommend Alliance if he's only getting one for awhile.
When cards are trashed they are returned to the bottom of their respective resource piles. If there wasn't a resource pile for the trashed card it starts a new pile.
Since the Randomizers don't have to have the same back as other cards, why not give the weapon randomizers a different back. That's what I do. I've made some index cards with each cards name on it...
Excellent.
Thanks so much for these! It's very helpful when explaining to new players when they have the best chances of survival when exploring.
LOL, calm down dude.
I agree, that's why I stated that "I" thought it was a good idea. Not that it was the answer that would satisfy the masses.
But the point is moot, at least for me....
Yes, the game is perfectly functional without the GenCon promo. However one of the reason I play deck building games and Fantasy Flight Games Living Card Games is due to the lack of a "collectable"...
Came across this Thread in the Outbreak Forums, Tyler Bandai states that all the promos will be available to the public at a later date:

So sad that they don't want to support a player base, that has bought into their products, beyond those willing to trek to GenCon . I even went there and only had time to play in a single tournament...
Somehow I doubt they did a print run of 32. And unless they want them sitting around the Bandai office forever......
The new Star Trek game is an enjoyable game. I haven't had a chance to try the cooperative Borg Invasion or the Team Klingon Civil war mode which I think would be better than the explore mode.
The...
Just wanted to throw in my support too. These look great!
When using the Telescopic Sight Rifle and drawing an event (Collapsing Floor Trap) from the bottom of the Mansion deck that forces additional Mansion cards to be revealed, are the new cards revealed...
Oops, I appear to have missed a key sentence in the Partner rules: "Only Weapons Attached to your Partner are considered used by them." It would seem that this would make sense in the reverse as...
