Does Bandai understand First round Byes?

Just wondering if the workers of Bandai, and the players of this forum, understand how these work? Because if Bandai doesnt, its absolutely worthless to get one. I do believe it will require extra programming into the OP website (although im not sure) but your first round bye "oppponent" needs to give you 100% win tie breakers. If the SJC you got a bye in has 6 rounds, your first round opponent (which is a bye) needs to be in the computer as going 6-0 and giving you 18 extra tiebreaker 1 point.

We've already brought this up to Andy. You are correct that they need to create a special bye in order to keep it from being a 0 strength of schedule opponent.

i was messing around with the OP program and found a way that works kinda they make a player called "First Round Win aka FRW" and they do this


in the round 1 the prize winner gets the free win vs FRW then in round 2 they manually pear FRW with a bye and give FRW the win repeat all the way to the last round but in the last round they give FRW the win and drop him from the tournament.

You do know that dropped players do not contribute to strength of schedule, right? Also, that Bye 'Player' still offers no strength of schedule, because he has all byes.

Also your Might Guy question in the Q&A infuriates me to no end and proves that MA players more often than not will warp the reading of a given card in order to try to attain some sort of advantage that doesn't exist. Look at 4th Raikage and The Fourth Hokage [Supremacy]. Do they work on any opposed Ninja on the Battlefield too because of how they're written? No, they work on the Ninjas directly opposing the Ninja the effect comes from.

This is sidetracking the point of the thread a bit, but i'm actually of the opinion that "opposing ninja" is any ninja that is opposing your ninja's on the battle field, as opposed to "opposing this ninja", which is more clear.

No, you must have no intelligence whatsoever if you actually believe that's how it is. He gave you two examples, you know how both of those work. The wording is the same. If it meant any Ninja opposing your Ninjas, it would read "target opposed Ninja". "Target opposing Ninja" is short hand for "the selected Ninja battling against this Ninja/the user". I'm not sure if you're still in NE, but I still think NE is full of unintelligent players.

Maybe Dalegna should add Might Guy to his Better Wording List...

OT: None of the suggestions made in this thread will actually fix the issue. The problem itself will have to be altered, which I'm sure it will.
